01 DEC 08 -- Cummins Filtration (NYSE:CMI) , the leader in filtration, exhaust, coolant and fuel additive technology for all engine-powered systems has launched an online Worldwide Retail Locator on the company’s Web site, cumminsfiltration.com.
 The new service directs customers to the most conveniently located retailers of Fleetguard® and Cummins® filters based on their own customized search. Information can be retrieved by country, city, state/province, landmarks or phone number, depending on the region. Searches can also be performed using a regional map.
“The Retail Locator offers an outstanding competitive advantage to link our end user customers with our dealers and distributors around the world,” said Doug Griffin, Executive Director of the Global Aftermarket for Cummins Filtration. “Our products are sold by over 33,000 retail locations worldwide through an extensive network of Cummins and independent distributors and OEM dealers. This new Web enhancement allows our customers to find Fleetguard filtration, exhaust, coolant and additive products and Cummins filters they need virtually anywhere in the world.”
The new service provides information on authorized Fleetguard retailers including address, driving directions and local weather. Directions can be printed out or downloaded to a PDA. Additional information such as nearby hotels and campgrounds is also available for some regions.
